Lego artist Sean Kenney and a Manhattan grade schooler spent three years building a 60" x 66" x 14" replica (1:150 scale) using 45,700 bricks. When completed, the stadium will be populated with tons of miniature spectators and vendors.

Ferrari V4 Superbike Concept Based on the Enzo
"Israeli industrial designer Amir Glinik has come up with an incredible Ferrari motorcycle concept using a modified engine from the Ferrari Enzo supercar. Using drive-by-wire technology, the V4 superbike features hand controls adapted from an F-16 fighter jet and buttons based on those found on the steering wheel of Ferrari's Formula 1 racecars. Other controls for the sound system and trip computer are located on an all weather touchscreen."

Another sign that the future us here! The next evolution in immersive gaming technology, this cocoon allows players to literally walk into the game. The design concept is a sphere shaped pod with an interior covered in display screens and surround sound. Gamers can use gestures to play games or perform other tasks thanks to motion capture cameras. While the cocoon is still a concept, the ideas could soon be cropping up in other gaming products.

GOODBYE TO YANKEE STADIUM
ONE LAST SUNDAY AT THE BALLPARK...
There's nothing in the world like catching a day baseball game... a nice seat in the sun behind home plate, nachos (with the jalepenos), peanuts and root beer... I'm the happiest man on earth for 9 whole innings...
In 1923 the Yankees played their first game in Yankee Stadium... 85 years later tonight, they played their last... I planned on writing a long blog about this but, I honestly sit here saddened and speechless... The funny thing is, is that I'm not a Yankee fan, but I still find myself teary-eyed... To think of all the history, the championships, the legends, and the stories that took place in the historic ballpark...
The Yankees will move into the new Yankee Stadium next season which is being built right across the street... I got the chance to visit Yankee Stadium this year when the Mets played the Yanks and as we drove past the new ballpark on the way home, it didn't quite hit me that the House that Ruth Built would soon exist no longer... Yankee Stadium will be torn down this summer, and all that will be left will be the memories, pictures, videos and stories that will live on forever...
I remember hearing one reporter saying it so eloquently... he said... "Here in America, we tear down our Roman Colosseums" It's sad, but true... But maybe that's just how it's should be... a memory...
Thanks for the memories Yankee Stadium.

56 LEONARD ST. NYC
Swiss architects Herzog and De Mueron recently revealed their design for 56 Leonard Street, their first residential tower in New York City. The 57 story building is designed with each floor stacked on top of one another, each one slightly askew to create dramatic cantilevers. CRAAAAAZY!
