MEXICAN HARLEM

Here is a dope picture I found on Mega's Black Scale blog... This is a picture of my block downtown Los Angeles on 8th and Broadway, I call it the Mexican Harlem of downtown LA... Mexican Harlem stretches from 9th street to 3rd street down Broadway and is better known as the Theatre District of downtown Los Angeles - it is home to a notable collection of grand old motion picture palaces, most of which date back to the 1920's and 1930's. L.A.'s Broadway theatre district represents the largest concentration of pre-World War II movie palaces in America. Above is Tower Theatre that sits on the corner of 8th and Broadway.
